Joining the Jefferson County Historical Society allows you to partner and collaborate with others equally committed to studying, preserving and promoting the history of Jefferson County. As a member, you will:

• Receive a free subscription to "The Record," JCHS's quarterly newsletter
• Receive special invitations and discounts for history programs and social events
• Be invited to group field trips to museums and historical sites throughout the state of Colorado
• Receive a free subscription to "Historically Jeffco," the annual publication of The Jefferson County Historical Commission.

JCHS volunteer programs bring together people with common interests and diverse backgrounds. In exchange for their time, volunteers receive professional training in:

• Historic preservation
• Curatorial techniques and documentation
• Oral history administration
• Public presentation skills for tours
• Lectures and special events
• Exhibit and program design
